The company: Swan Housing Association have been providing high quality, affordable homes throughout Essex, Suffolk and East London for over 15 years, and manage over 9,000 properties across 14 sites.
The problem: Swan had expanded to such a degree that their existing systems and IT function couldn’t cope and communications between the 14 sites was expensive and unreliable.
The solution: Swan outsourced its IT support and infrastructure to CloudXL, and we tailored a bespoke plan to offer resilience, flexibility and cost savings. LANKonnect provides the foundation of Swan’s service provision, saving 40% of the costs of MPLS. We also rolled out VOIP. Using X, we virtualised the network, replacing 31 servers and providing a safe, secure, reliable working environment with the reassurance of online back-up to enable business continuity
